Originally from Michigan in the USA, Marisa attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she obtained a BA in Psychology. Marisa moved to New Zealand in 2005 and completed a Master's Degree programme in Organisational Psychology at the University of Waikato.

In her thesis work Marisa researched how various aspects related to the individual, personality, and the home office setup affect work related outcomes (such as work-family conflict, job satisfaction, organisational commitment, psychological strain, etc.) for employees working from home.

As a former HR Consultant, Marisa has worked with a wide range of organisations to improve the effectiveness of selection and development efforts.

Marisa specialises in Psychometric Assessment and Emotional Intelligence coaching.
